Viral video highlights must-try ‘archery dodgeball’ spot in Colorado Springs

Sherwood Showdown was recently featured in the Denver Gazette’s Out There Colorado after going viral on social media - racking up over 17 million views!

Spencer McKee wrote “Looking for something fun to do with your friends that’s sure to give you a rush of adrenaline? Look no further than Sherwood Showdown in Colorado Springs.

Opening in fall 2025, Sherwood Showdown offers an experience where paintball meets dodgeball while putting bow and arrow skills to the test – and yes, the arrows are padded.

This team-based game combines the movement and strategy of dodgeball, says the company, with the field of play featuring various bunkers similar to what’s seen in paintball to offer a bit of cover from opponents’ shots.

If the sport of archery dodgeball sounds familiar, you may have spotted a video from Sherwood Showdown that went viral in recent days, getting more than 14 million views on Instagram alone.”
